Risk Boundaries and Limits
Digital-asset prices move quickly. Fills, liquidity, fees, network, and platform failures affect outcomes. AoraEX is currently in an observation and preview phase. This page lists hard limits and the controls to document before live execution.
Current hard limits
Product baseline: liveTrading = false. Live orders, signing, broadcasting, and withdrawals stay closed. Copy- and order-related endpoints are for preview or simulation.
| Data | Use |
|---|---|
| Public quotes | Market observation |
| Account observation | External snapshot |
| Simulation result | Paper calculation |
| Spendable funds | Ledger balance, pending credit acceptance |
Controls to document before live execution
- Per-order capital and total exposure limits
- Maximum slippage, data freshness, and signal expiry
- Leverage, drawdown, and consecutive-loss limits
- Market / venue allowlists, duplicate-request protection, and circuit breakers
- User approval, audit records, and failure handling
These are design requirements. After live trading opens, limits will be written per account and strategy, then accepted independently.
Status vocabulary
A failure stays a failure. A preview stays a preview. Funding intents and on-chain observations are external evidence. Account observations are Hyperliquid snapshots.
Usage note
Trading decisions should rest on independent judgment. Digital-asset trading can result in partial or total loss of capital.
