Order States and Execution Limits
An order preview describes “what might be submitted if executed.” The current server provides previews or paper simulations. Live orders, signing, and broadcasting stay closed under the product baseline.
Current path and planned path
Today: request → preview or paper simulation → result
Planned: order intent → risk check → user approval → venue submission → fill/cancel reconciliation
The second path is marked available after implementation and acceptance.
Order intent and preview
A preview may include venue, instrument, side, quantity, price, or slippage for review. Reserved balances, venue authorization, and fill results take effect after the execution path is accepted.
Capability status
| Capability | Current status |
|---|---|
| Public-data observation | Read-only path; data depends on its source |
| Order preview | For reviewing intent |
| Paper replay | Simulation |
| Live submission after user approval | Later phase |
| Automatic live execution | Later phase |
| Withdrawals, bridging, arbitrary contract calls | Later phase |
State and reconciliation
A paper-simulation result is a local calculation. The funding observer records external evidence. Live execution needs verifiable venue responses, order states, fills, and failure handling, then an acceptance record before it is marked live.
